A traveller

“It is obvious that a man is himself a traveller; to have and hold,”

But “to give time and to serve themselves away “.

There can be no other meaning.

It’s so easier to live only for yourself. But you can take another path – to be generous with your love and time.

Give yourself away !
Quote by Sir Wilfred T. Grenfell

Inner Space

There’s an inner space inside us and its important to keep it and cultivate it. Take a break.

We’re all constantly rushing from one place to the other but art and creativity compassion and love can only come from the inner space. So keep that garden, alive and colourful.

Time is Finite

Time is Finite

We live our lives hoping to achieve much. At times we fail to recognise how time is limited. Though we have 24 hours a day, it seems like we only have few hours to do all things. The clock ticks and ticks rounding to the next hour, before you know it the sunsets for the night. Excuses after are made to work, talents and  friends, promises broken to children. We come up with so many reasons why we couldn’t make a phone call to a loved one. We make excuses to go after our dreams whilst we are still young. Failing to acknowledge how time is finite.

When someone pass away, we all start reflecting on how life is really short. We think we have the whole life to go after our callings but we never think of  the length of life God has given us. What if He gave you 5 years to live or perhaps 2 hours from on to live? Will you be able to go and do all things you should have done when time was plenty ?

Just like an icecream in a corn, that is how short life is. We can’t retrieve the delicious taste of the icecream once it has all melted on the floor.

Do everything you have to do now because time is finite. Life is randomly and too soon, be taken away, perhaps brutishly or easily.

Powerful Faith

“I believe in my ability to learn and figure things out. With enough focus, time, effort and dedication, I believe I can learn what must be done and become who I must Become to achieve my dreams.”

Just remember as you start December, powerful faith to learn and live will bring Doubt to lie sweating its deathbed.

Confidence in The Lord

There is nothing a good person can do when everything falls apart but,

The Lord is in his holy temple; he has his throne in heaven. He watches people everywhere and knows what they are doing. The Lord is righteous and loves good deeds; those who do them will live in his presence.

Never Forsaken

I am old now,
I have lived a long time
But I have  never seen
The Lord forsake  the  righteous
Or their children begging for food.
At all times they give freely
And lend to others,
Their children are a blessing.

A Splendid Night

As the chilles of cold air penetrated through my body, I desired for a warm refuge. None other place could grant me my desire than my comfy bed as of the soft egyptian duvet. I retire the night with a splendid read of volume 2 of A great novelist whose marvellous work Frankstein has won the hearts of man. Surely, the season of winter leaves me in great agony of the miserable cold atmosphere but still manages to excite me as Christmas awaits me………

Your Shoes

It costs me a lot to admit that, can’t  you understand? If I wrap my arms around myself and hold  tight it keeps the pain in. Stops it spilling out and making a terrible mess. I’m  better off here, looking at the closed wardrobe door. Your shoes are standing outside it now, side by side. The right shoe on the right hand side and the left shoe on the left. In their proper place, no fuss like a husband and wife. I’d like you to get married one day. I’d like you to have a normal life, of course I would. I’ve  tied the shoe laces together so that they don’t get separated.
