Bridges to Highway

Don’t underestimate the importance of people in your life. People are the bridges on the highway to your destiny. Relationships are the currency of life; those who invest in them are richly rewarded. Treat every person like they are the missing piece to your life puzzle.

At every turning point of your life, God has placed a person waiting to bless you with provisions, instructions, encouragement and direction for your next move. Therefore honor and value the people that God brings into your life no matter how insignificant they may appear.

You cannot move from where you are to where God wants you to be without people. Nobody is too important to need people. Divine blessings, breakthroughs and solutions often come through the least expected people.

Final Say

God will turn things around for you and bring vindication when you do the right thing in wrong. You may be facing something unfair, but remember God has the final say!

Just Have Faith in Him.

The Lord is in his holy temple; he has his throne in heaven. He watches people everywhere and knows what they are doing. The Lord is righteous and loves good deeds; those who do them will live in his presence.

Where He Leads, I Follow

IMG_1360

My footsteps are behind His

The Creator and Finisher of Life

Knows my destiny

When He Leads, I follow

Though Winds roar

Storms blow furiously

Fire rage fiercely during my journey in life

He will cover me

Under the shadow of His Wings

I will find Refuge.

I might not know my tomorrow;

But He Alone knows plans He has for me

Where He shall Lead, I will follow

May my faith not cease, Lord

King of Kings.

Meeting My Every Need

Heavenly Father,

Your word says, “seek ye the kingdom of God first and all these things shall be added on to you. “You are well able to take care of my financial situation; You know what needs to be done. Direct my steps. Help me to Remember that Your resources are meant to flow freely from the place of abundance to the place of need. I believe You have a financial plan for my life, and when fear of future threatens to overwhelm me, I will hope continually and praise You more and more. As You walk with me through this crisis and I stay focused on You, You promised to keep me in perfect peace. Forgive me for worrying. I cast all my cares on you right now.. I don’t have to bear these burdens on my own.. I lay them down and receive Your divine rest. You promised to supply all my needs; that it’s Your good pleasure to give me the blessings and benefits of Your kingdom. You told me not to worry about anything and instead make my requests known to you with thanksgiving. I know You’ll take care of tomorrow because You’re Jehovah Jireh, my provider. You know what I need and when I need it…Thank you for meeting my every need, and for the sense of peace and security You’re imparting to me. In Jesus’ name.Amen

Today, Open Your Eyes

“Open my eyes so I can see wonderful things”
PSALMS 119 VS 18

A man on a commuter train kept gazing out the window and saying , ‘wonderful;just wonderful!. What was he looking at?

Rundown apartment buildings and rubbish spilling over onto pavements!

After hearing him say ‘Wonderful’ four or five times the lady beside him remarked, ‘it doesn’t look to wonderful to me’.

Whereupon the man replied, ‘I’ve been blind for the past thirty years. But through the skill of a surgeon, the generosity of a donor, and a corneal transplant, I’ve been given the gift of two new eyes. And to me, everything I see is wonderful.’

LESSON OF TODAY
grumbling blinds you to enjoy God’s blessings, but gratitude opens your eyes to enjoy them.

Worn Heel

I can’t tell you how many days I went to work feeling like a worn heel of an old shoe. I was less effective, tenser, unable to perform to full capacity.

Can you relate ?

We worry about things that don’t even matter. Getting wrapped around our heads  about what tomorrow holds. At times, we wrestled all night with issues that couldn’t be resolved until morning.

Can all our worries add a single moment to your life?

Just know life is too short to be spent worried about things beyond control. A verse of bible encourages

Dont worry about anything;instead, Pray about everything~ phillipians4vs6

Never Forsaken

image

I am old now,
I have lived a long time
But I have  never seen
The Lord forsake  the  righteous
Or their children begging for food.
At all times they give freely
And lend to others,
Their children are a blessing.

The Choice: Life or Death

image

As I start to advance in years, I am discovering what life is made up of. I have spent so many years intrigued by researching the purpose of life. My 1st book, What Life Teaches Us that I wrote in 2014 raises some questions about life.  But, I realised that life is a serie of decision making. Every  moment of our lives is affected by the decision we make. It’s upto you to decide if you want to wear a blue coat or a red one. The choice is yours.

Secondly, we gave been given a choice between life or death. Our Creator, Jehovah,  The Lord Almighty, made it pretty simple for us to choose. As I get closer to the word of God, I discovered this verse in Deuteronomy 30 vs 19

I am now giving you the choice between life and death, between good and evil and I call heaven and earth to witness the choice you make.

When I read this verse, I was challenged and left with so many questions in my head. “So what is life ?” What is the difference between good and evil? Have I made the right choice between life and death?”

The questions kept rolling. But I decided to read more of the chapter 30. I discovered Moses was trying to explain to the Israelites what it meant to make this decision. He understood that Life is made up of decisions and choices. Life itself is given by God, he is the source of life. When you choose life, you are choosing Jesus because he came so that we might have life and experience it abundantly until it overflows. Choosing life means obeying and being faithful to Him who gives life, enjoying the good things that He gives and being in his protection.

Whereas if you choose death or evil, lets says curse, you are simply disobeying His commands and make devastating decisions that will ruin your life. You are not in a safe place if you choose evil ways.

All I can say is the choice is not too difficult or beyond your reach. It is up to you decide to live a life of good or evil decisions.

The choice is yours.

Tempest of Emotions

At times I feel worn out by the hectic life. One minute you are running to catch the bus,  next, you are to complete an assignment 12 noon. The phone rings and rings but I refuse to answer it. “Kudzai, Kudzai , do that, do this. Can you work can you talk to this person”. Why does it feel like I am trying to chase the wind ?

That is when He reminds me that there will be times when I will feel tossed around by the tempest of emotions.

When this happens, I have to look for a sacred space within me. The Creator of my life gives me peace . His spirit resides in me.

Last night, the Creator whispered in my ear. “Kudzai, Sharon take some time to rest in peace. After a while, when you are ready , come out to face the world again”.

That surely made  me feel better today
